Haneen Omari ons begeleidde bij de eerste stapjes in het Jordaanse Arabisch. Daarnaast hebben we veel geleerd over de Jordaanse cultuur en de geschiedenis van dit interessante land. We zijn nu klaar om op reis te gaan naar Jordanië volgende week! ====== The Jordanian Now activity was an informative and enjoyable gathering where Dr. Haneen Omari guided us into our first steps in Jordanian Arabic. We also learned a lot about Jordanian culture and the history of this fascinating country. We're now ready to go on our trip to Jordan next week!

Ter voorbereiding op de reis naar Jordanië nodigt Sheherazade jullie uit voor haar eerste activiteit van het jaar! Dr. Haneen Omari zal ons de basis van het Jordaanse dialect bijbrengen en zo een mooie inleiding bieden tot de Jordaanse taal en cultuur. Alle leden zijn welkom! As part of the preparations for the trip to Jordan, Sheherazade has organized a special Jordan dialect activity! Dr. Haneen Omari will guide us through the basics of the Jordanian dialect, offering an interesting introduction into the language and culture of Jordan. Dit jaar hebben we af mogen sluiten met twee mooie activiteiten: een bezoek aan de LJG in Amsterdam en een gezellige borrel en pubquiz bij Hudson. Het bestuur van Sheherazade wil jullie bedanken voor alle gezelligheid en de mooie herinneringenen en we wensen jullie prettige feestdagen en een gelukkig 2026! 🎄✨ ===== Dear members, Suddenly, the first half of this Sheherazade year is already over! We were able to conclude this year with two wonderful activities: a visit to the LJG in Amsterdam and a fun drinks and pub quiz at Hudson. We nodigen jullie uit voor de Sherazade eindejaarsborrel voor docenten en studenten. Dit jaar organiseren we de borrel bij Hudson Leiden op woensdag 10 december. Je bent welkom tussen 15:00-18:00 uur!  Ook zullen wij je kennis testen tijdens de Sheherazade PubQuiz! Deze start om 16:30. Het eerste drankje en bitterballen krijg je van ons! ;) Vergeet je niet aan te melden via de link in onze bio of via de website!
