*English Below* Ramadan komt eraan en op 19 februa *English Below* Ramadan komt eraan en op 19 februari om 18:00 organiseren Sheherazade, TFLS, Pleyte en Mugusa samen een iftar diner bij Oost-Afrikaans eethuis Djebena in Leiden (Noordeinde 21). Een avond met traditionele Oost-Afrikaanse gerechten in een ontspannen setting, waar het leuk is om studenten van verschillende studies en verenigingen te spreken. Vooraf is er mogelijk een korte lezing ter verdieping. 📍 Djebena, Leiden 🕕 19 februari – 18:00 💸 Prijs: 20 euro, exclusief drinken Aanmelden kan via de link. Tot dan! ------------------- Ramadan is approaching, and on February 19 at 6 p.m., Sheherazade, TFLS, Pleyte, and Mugusa are jointly organizing an iftar dinner at the East African restaurant Djebena in Leiden (Noordeinde 21). An evening of traditional East African cuisine in a relaxed setting, where you can enjoy talking to students from different study programs and associations. There may be a short lecture beforehand to provide some background information. 📍 Djebena, Leiden 🕕 February 19 – 6:00 p.m. 💸 Price: 20 euros, excluding drinks You can register via the link. *English below* De Jordanian Now activiteit was ee *English below* De Jordanian Now activiteit was een leerzame en gezellige bijeenkomst waar dr. Haneen Omari ons begeleidde bij de eerste stapjes in het Jordaanse Arabisch. Daarnaast hebben we veel geleerd over de Jordaanse cultuur en de geschiedenis van dit interessante land. We zijn nu klaar om op reis te gaan naar Jordanië volgende week! ====== The Jordanian Now activity was an informative and enjoyable gathering where Dr. Haneen Omari guided us into our first steps in Jordanian Arabic. We also learned a lot about Jordanian culture and the history of this fascinating country. We're now ready to go on our trip to Jordan next week!
